FAQ

What is the cost of the Acne Program?

The Consultation and First Treatment is $100. If you choose to enroll in the acne program during your consultation, your initial set of skincare products will be $150-$185. Some products will need to be refilled throughout the program, and product refills are typically $20-$45 per product. Treatments are required every two weeks and cost $85 each.

Is the Program safe for pregnant and/or breastfeeding clients?

Yes, the acne program is safe, but a few adjustments must be made depending on what your doctor recommends. It’s typically recommended to stay away from Salicylic Acid, Vitamin A, and TCA chemical peels while pregnant and/or breastfeeding, so we avoid these ingredients in all treatments and in your skincare routine. Achieving clear skin while pregnant and/or breastfeeding is definitely possible, but keep in mind your hormones can affect your progress throughout the program.

Is there a minimum age requirement for the Acne Program?

There is no age requirement for the acne program, we’ll work with clients at whatever age they’re experiencing breakouts! With that being said, teens are often harder to clear due to hormones, diet, and busy extracurricular schedules, so make sure your teen is able to fully commit to the Program. I have successfully cleared teens that have been fully committed.

How long does it take to get clear?

Most clients clear in 4 to 6 months, but this timeline varies based on your acne type, acne severity, lifestyle habits, and other health factors.

Can I still use prescription acne medications or creams while participating in the acne program?

No, prescription acne medications, antibiotics, and creams need to be discontinued before starting our Program. Prescription acne medications are not designed for long-term use, and only address the surface causes of acne. Because they don't address the root cause of acne, results with prescription acne medications are often temporary. Our Acne Program is designed to clear skin without the use of prescription acne medications.

Will my acne get worse before it gets better?

Some clients experience purging in the beginning of the Acne Program. If you experience purging, it does not mean the program isn't working. It means you've had acne forming under the surface this whole time (remember acne takes up to 90 days to form), and your new product routine is helping these breakouts reach the surface at a faster rate. Once the breakouts reach the surface, our products and treatments will help clear them. Every client is different — we can't predict who will experience purging, but we can assure you that it's a normal part of the acne-clearing process!

Do I have to use your products?

Yes, our products are required for the Acne Program. However, if you are not ready to commit to the full program, you can choose to schedule an acne facial with extractions, if desired.

What if I decide the Acne Program isn’t right for me during my Acne Program Consultation?

If you have any hesitations about participating in the Acne Program, then we do not recommend moving forward. Our clients achieve the best results when they are fully committed to the Program and are willing to invest their time and energy into the process. We’ll be here for you in the future if you change your mind!

Do you accept insurance?

We are not medical professionals or a medical office, so we do not accept insurance. I have had clients successfully use HSA accounts for acne treatments and acne home care items, however.
